This Privacy Policy explains how Future Industries ("we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use QotD: Daily Wisdom (the "App"). The App is published by Future Industries KK.

What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the App.

- Email address — when you create an account or sign in. Used to authenticate you and to let you recover access to your data.

- User ID — an internal identifier issued by Firebase Authentication (Google) the first time you sign in. Used to associate your account with your saved data.

- Notification token (FCM token) — a per-device identifier issued by Apple Push Notification service and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging. Used only to deliver the optional "Quote of the Day" push notification to your device.

We do not collect:

- Your name, phone number, address, or location.

- Contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, or camera.

- Advertising identifiers.

- Browsing or usage analytics.

- Any data used for tracking, advertising, or profiling.

How we use the information

- To authenticate you and create or maintain your account.

- To deliver the daily quote push notification, if you have allowed notifications.

- To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not use your information for advertising or for any form of cross-app or cross-website tracking.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share only with the limited service providers required to run the App:

- Google / Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging) — to store accounts and send push notifications. See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

- Apple — to deliver push notifications via Apple Push Notification service. See Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/.

These providers process your data on our behalf under their own contractual privacy and security obligations.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the App (Profile → Delete account). Deletion removes your account and the associated data from our servers within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days, subject to backup-rotation cycles).

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform in the Asia-Northeast region. Where data crosses borders, we rely on the service providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example APPI in Japan, GDPR in the EU/EEA, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you.

- Correct inaccurate information.

- Delete your account and associated data.

- Object to or restrict certain processing.

- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
